i'm the awkward looking girl
with no hat and split ends and small hands.
(i wear a lot of green.)
if you meet me, shake my hand,
cup my elbow.
if i look at the ground and grin to myself,
we'll know we've found each other.

Green is an awesome color.
(My favorite in fact)

I'll be shaking lots of hands and
giving fewer hugs and
cupping only one or two elbows.

The only thing to explain it's arrival

I've only ever taken polaroids when
I was too little to appreciate them.

I expect it'll be quite the adventure.
